Farming In Australia
Agriculture in Australia is as sophisticated and diverse
as anywhere in the world. Although Australia is so big most
of the agriculture along with the population is concentrated
in a narrow costal strip along the eastern, western and south
eastern coast, and in Tasmania.
There are large scale enterprises for crops such as wheat,
cotton and wool, as well as intensive production operations
of beef, pigs, chicken and horticultural crops. Many people
now travel to Australian on a working holiday visa in order
to meet the requirements and apply for a 2nd year you will
need to undertake 90 days seasonal work in Rural Australia.
These duties can include, fruit picking, cattle work and all
various other farm work.
