Australian Long Stay Tourist Visa
If you are travelling to Australia for longer than 3 months (90 days) you will require a
Subclass 676 Australian visa. The main purpose of travel to Australia should be recreational or to visit family/friends.
The subclass 676 Australian visa will be valid on your passport from the date of issue for 12 months with either stays of up to 6 or 12 months granted. Visa labels are no longer issued and your Australian visa is assigned to your passport number.
A subclass 676 Australia visa can be processed in as little as 5 working days. However all Australian visas are based on individual circumstances and are granted at the discretion of The Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

Should your passport not be eligible for the electronic subclass 676 Australia tourist visa, you will be required to complete a form 48R which are available by contacting Visa Australia Ltd direct.

You can chose to apply for either a maximum stay of six
or twelve months per visit. The visa will be valid for 12
months from date of issue for you to arrive
into Australia and so long as you enter Australia before
your visa expires, you will be able to stay for your maximum
stay.
Applicants who are under 70 years of age will not
usually be requested to undergo any health requirements,
unless they have stated any medical conditions on the
application form.
Over 70 years of age (Visitor Visa Medical Certificate
70-85) a doctor report is required for all applicants
applying for a long stay visitor's visa. The medical

Over 85 Years of age (Visitors Visa Medical Certificate
85+) this is intended for anyone visiting Australia
on a long stay visitor visa. The medical form is available
on this site to download.
All Medical forms will be posted out to you
once you have applied.
Applicants over 70 years of age will also be required
to provide evidence they have sufficient health/travel
insurance for their stay in Australia. If you do not
have sufficient cover please fee free to contact us
for a free quotation.
Children travelling without both parents will need consent
from the parent that is not travelling for their child to
be out of the Country. Once lodged with the Australian Immigration
a unique Form 1229 will be downloaded and sent to you. This
can not be done until your application has been lodged.
Visa Australia Ltd charges a fee of £85.00 / €110
for a six month visa and £90.00 / €125 for a
12 month stay visa, inclusion of all The Australia High
Commission fees.
Children travelling without both parents will need consent
from the parents/guardians for their child to be out of
the Country.
